Waikato Valley Chocolate Concepts

The Waikato Valley chocolate everyday range needed a redesign to highlight its New Zealand origin and ethical stance. Below are 2 of my concepts. I also modernised the Waikato Valley logo in each option.

For the first concept I’ve gone with a fun idea, doodling on the chocolate and turning it into New Zealand iconic objects, eg. sheep, mountains etc. Each SKU would have a different main background colour. I like the simplicity of these designs, and the impact they would have on shelf.

My second concept is set in a NZ forest scene. I’ve used cute illustrations and a rough texture to add depth.
